Tanguy RALAIMIADANA and Alexandre ADAM met in 2017 in Richard NICOLAS’s guitar class at the Regional Conservatory of Cergy-Pontoise. They quickly became friends and started playing together. After having participated for several years in concerts as part of ensembles or orchestras, they decided to found the Duo Gaïac in 2023 to propose an autonomous artistic project.
The Gaïac Duo makes arrangements, concerts and recordings to share its love of classical guitar. They studied, among others, with Richard NICOLAS or Diego TROSMAN.
The artistic choices of Duo Gaïac are oriented towards the South American repertoire, written or arranged for guitar duo. They mix classical music with tango and bossa nova during their performances, showcasing works by George CARDOSO, Egberto GISMONTI and Astor PIAZZOLLA.
